People looking for help to get online are being offered the chance to take part in a free workshop.
Bristol’s library service is working with local Neighbourhood Partnerships and volunteers to provide support for local people who rarely or never use the internet.
Six free workshops have been organised that will help people develop basic digital skills including; using social media, shopping and banking online, sending and receiving emails and accessing government services.
The sessions will be free, friendly and informal, with training delivered on a one to one basis to concentrate on individual needs which can sometimes be lost in larger classes.
The workshops will be held on the following dates:
Wednesday 7 September 1.30pm-3.30pm at Junction 3 Library
Thursday 15 September 1.30pm-3.30pm at Avonmouth Community Centre
Tuesday 20 September 1.30pm-3.30pm at Filwood Library
