George Galloway to stand in Manchester Gorton byelection

Former Respect MP could attempt to exploit ethnic divisions in local Labour party in contest to replace the late Gerald Kaufman George Galloway has confirmed he will stand in the Manchester Gorton byelection in an attempt to benefit from a divided local Labour party and re-enter parliament.
